Receipta Privacy Policy

Receipta is a personal receipt scanning and expense tracking app. We care about privacy and aim to keep your financial records on your own device.

Data we process

• Expense records you enter, such as amount, date, merchant, category, and notes.
• Receipt photos you choose to save.
• Text recognized from receipt photos.
• Categories you create or edit.
• Local counters used to determine free monthly scan usage.
• Subscription status provided through Apple StoreKit.

How data is stored

• The data above is stored locally on your device by default.
• The current version does not upload your bills, receipt photos, or recognized text to the developer server.
• The current version does not collect contacts, precise location, device identifiers, or phone usage data.

Camera and photo access

Camera access is used only to take receipt photos. Photo selection is used only to import receipt images you choose.

Subscriptions

If you purchase Receipta Pro, purchase and subscription management is handled by the Apple App Store. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card information.

Data deletion

You can delete individual expense records in the app. Uninstalling the app usually removes app data stored locally on your device.
